Just what I expected
This cuckoo is the best you can get for this price. As soon as I received it, I installed the three C batteries it requires and it started working. It also has a control for the volume. The shimming is simple. You set the hour and push a bottom behind that sets the shimming with the hour. I had read it only shines six times. Well, they must have fixed the problem because it shines according to the hours ( it stops from 9pm to 6am) the cuckoo sound has a little background ( like a waterfall ) but it doesn't bother me. For this price you're going to get nothing better.
